Laver Cup Los Angeles 2027: Where Tennis Meets the City
The Laver Cup will bring Team Europe and Team World to Intuit Dome in Inglewood from September 24–26, 2027, marking the 10th edition of a competition that has created some of modern tennis’s most memorable team moments.
For three days, rivals become teammates. Singles and doubles unfold on the unmistakable black court. Players sit together, coach one another and celebrate points with an intensity rarely seen during the individual rhythm of the professional tour.
But a great tennis journey should never begin and end at the arena doors.
It should include the tennis you play in the morning, the neighborhoods you discover afterward, the people you meet, the meals you remember and the feeling of experiencing a city rather than simply visiting it.
Los Angeles makes that possible in a way few destinations can. This is a city of world-class sport, beaches, neighborhoods, restaurants, entertainment and year-round tennis — and in 2027, the Laver Cup becomes another reason to experience it.

What exactly is the Laver Cup?
Six players from Europe. Six from the rest of the world. Three days. One team trophy.
Named in honor of Australian tennis legend Rod Laver, the Laver Cup brings six leading men’s players from Europe together against six players representing the rest of the world.
The competition debuted in Prague in 2017 and has developed a personality unlike almost anything else on the tennis calendar. The setting is theatrical, the court is black and the team benches sit close enough to the action that fans can watch some of the sport’s biggest names talking strategy and encouraging one another between points.
The event combines singles and doubles. Matches are played over three days, and the scoring system is intentionally designed to make the pressure increase as the weekend progresses.
That format means Friday matters — but Sunday can change everything. A team that trails early is still very much alive as the value of each match increases.
The first team to reach 13 points wins the Laver Cup.

Three days. Increasing pressure.
The genius of the format is simple: every day becomes more valuable. What starts as a point-by-point contest can become a dramatic Sunday finish with the Cup still within reach for either team.
The opening move.
Friday introduces the matchups and sets the tone. Every win earns one point, giving both teams a chance to establish early momentum.
The pressure doubles.
Saturday changes the arithmetic. Each victory is now worth two, making every match more consequential and every lineup decision more strategic.
Everything is on the line.
Sunday wins are worth three points. The first team to reach 13 takes the Cup, which means the final day is built for momentum swings and dramatic finishes.
Individual rivals become teammates — and suddenly every point belongs to something bigger.
Why Los Angeles 2027 is special.
the Laver Cup
Los Angeles will host the 10th edition of the Laver Cup, bringing the event back to California after San Francisco hosted in 2025.
The city also finds itself in the middle of an extraordinary era of global sport. Los Angeles is preparing for major international events across football, basketball and the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Into that atmosphere comes a tennis event that already knows how to create drama.
The appeal is not only what happens on court. Los Angeles gives traveling tennis fans the chance to build an entire experience around the competition: play tennis, explore neighborhoods, discover restaurants, enjoy the coast and then walk into one of the most modern arenas in professional sport.

Inside Intuit Dome.
Opened in 2024 as the home of the Los Angeles Clippers, Intuit Dome was designed around the live fan experience. Its technology, seating, hospitality spaces and atmosphere make it a natural stage for an event built around energy and proximity to the players.
For the Laver Cup, the venue will be transformed around the competition’s distinctive black court and team environment. The result should feel less like a conventional week on tour and more like a concentrated three-day tennis event.
The arena sits in Inglewood, California, placing visitors within reach of many different sides of Los Angeles.
Los Angeles through a local lens.
Tournament travel can easily become airport, hotel, arena, hotel — repeat. Tennis Destination sees Los Angeles differently. This is our home territory, and the city deserves to be experienced between the matches, not simply passed through.
More than a ticket.
The goal is not to race through a checklist of Los Angeles attractions. It is to create a rhythm around tennis: a morning hit, an excellent meal, a neighborhood worth discovering, a memorable match and the conversations that happen afterward.
Los Angeles can be complicated when you do not know it. Distances matter. Traffic matters. Choosing the right location matters. Local knowledge can make the difference between seeing Los Angeles and actually enjoying it.
That is exactly where a small-group approach becomes valuable.
